About Forex Markets
The foreign exchange market (forex) operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. It opens Sunday 5pm ET (New York) and closes Friday 5pm ET. The four major trading sessions are Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York. The London and New York overlap (8am–12pm ET) is the most active period with the highest volume and tightest spreads.
The index analyses volatility, market momentum, social media sentiment, surveys, dominance and trends to produce a daily score from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed).
About Bond Yields
Bond yields move inversely to prices. Rising yields generally indicate higher borrowing costs and can signal expectations of higher inflation or interest rates. The 10-year yield is widely considered the benchmark for long-term interest rates and influences mortgage rates, corporate borrowing and equity valuations globally.
